MG Ellington

I live, play, and write in Greensboro, North Carolina. I work in Winston-Salem. I consider it my hometown – a hyphenated city for a hyphenated girl. My son’s best friend is an alien. Together they live out Clone Wars. I married my soulmate and gained a few amazing kids in the bargain.

I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in the summer of 2008 just prior to making my first short story sale. I majored in number crunching yet my passion will always be words. My story, “Dream Catcher,” is now published in Northern Haunts: 100 Terrifying New England Tales.

I am a regular contributor to the Apex Book Company  blog as well as Crossed Genres‘ Science in My Fiction Blog. I’ve also just started contributing to EMG Zine. Please have a browse through each. They offer excellent, entertaining, and informative content.

I am the founding moderator for a writing community, Lobo_Luna, on LiveJournal.com. I am Jennifer Brozek‘s Evil Admin on her Facebook Fanpage. I’ve also done a few gigs as an author web monkey. Eeet. Eeet. At least I am good at keeping myself busy!
